1 Tablespoon butter
3/4 Cup granulated white sugar
2 1/2 Cups white wheat flour
1 Lemon zest
2 Egg yolks
1 Whole egg
9 Oz. jar cherry preserves (thinned with brandy)
Voorbereiding:
Bereidingswijze: Mix all crust ingrediants together in food processor without working dough too much. Gather it all into a ball and let sit covered by a towel for 30 minutes. Divide dough in half and roll one piece to 1/4 inch thickness. Place it on the removeable bottom of a 12 in. tart shell. Spread filling on the dough keeping it within 1 inch of edge. Decorate with the tip of a teaspoon. Glaze the Crostata with remaining beaten egg. Bake at 375 degrees for 35 minutes. Color should be golden brown.
